Buffalo Wild Wings Promo Code

By CouponUpdates editorial team · Updated 22 Sep 2026

Most Buffalo Wild Wings promo codes are not percentage discounts. They are free-item offers attached to a minimum spend: six wings on a $10 order, ten boneless wings on a $15 order, free fried pickles, a free large ranch, a free delivery charge. That changes how you should compare them, because a free item is worth what it is worth regardless of how big your order is, while a percentage grows with the bill. Getting that comparison right is most of what this page is for.

The offers here come from the supplied CouponFollow workbook dated September 19, 2026, which recorded twenty current listings. Sixteen tokens were resolved, one of them an internal app token rather than a coupon you can type. One card exposed only a masked fragment and has been left out rather than guessed, and three further listings need no code at all. Each card was reviewed against that listing and a matching external source on the same date, which is what the verified badge and checked date mean here.

Free item or money off?

The crossover point is easy to calculate and worth knowing. Six free wings are worth roughly the menu price of a six-piece, so call it $9 for the sake of argument. A 20% code beats that once your order passes about $45. Below that, the free wings win; above it, the percentage does.

Minimum spends, and the mistake they invite

Every free-item code here is attached to a threshold: $10 for GOWINGS and FREEPICKLES, $15 for GOBONELESS. The threshold is the mechanism that makes the offer profitable for the restaurant, and it is also where shoppers lose money.

If your order is already $18 and you want a $15 threshold offer, you qualify and the free item is a genuine gain. If your order is $11 and you add $4 of food to reach $15, you have spent $4 to receive ten boneless wings, which is still a good trade. But if your order is $6 and you add $9 to reach $15, you have roughly doubled your spending to receive an item you did not plan on. Whether that is a saving depends entirely on whether you wanted the extra food.

Note also that thresholds are normally calculated on the food subtotal, not the amount you pay. Delivery charges, service fees, tax and tip usually do not count toward a $10 or $15 minimum. An order that shows $16 at checkout may only have $11 of qualifying food in it, and the code will refuse for that reason while looking like it should have worked.

Blazin' Rewards

Buffalo Wild Wings runs a free loyalty programme, Blazin' Rewards, and it is a structurally different kind of saving from anything on this list. Two of the current no-code listings in the snapshot point at it: a birthday reward described as free wings, and set-price bundle promotions.

The distinction matters because loyalty benefits accumulate across visits while a promo code applies once. If you eat here a few times a year, joining the programme before you place the next order is worth more than working through codes, because the points from this order carry forward and the birthday reward arrives whether you had a code or not.

It also affects code comparison directly: a rewards offer sitting in your account may not combine with a typed code. Sign in first, look at what the account already offers, then decide whether a code adds anything on top.

The cards that are not really codes

Four current listings in the snapshot are not coupons in the usual sense, and they appear on this page as deals rather than codes.

Two no-code promotions. One is described as a 15-15 wings deal at $29.99, the other as free wings on your birthday under the rewards programme. There is nothing to type; the price or benefit should already be present at a participating restaurant or in your account.

One auto-applied bundle. A $39.99 listing for forty wings plus fries was labelled as a code by CouponFollow, but the matching source identifies it as automatically applied. We have imported it without a code for that reason.

One internal app token. The workbook resolved one listing to a value that appears to be an internal app token rather than a checkout coupon. It is shown as a deal describing bundles from $8.99, and it is the one card on this page deliberately left without a verified badge, because we could not treat it as a coupon you can enter.

A worked comparison

Take an illustrative order for two people: ten traditional wings, a side of fries and two drinks, coming to $32 of food.

GOWINGS adds six free wings, worth roughly $9 at menu price, on a $10 minimum you have comfortably passed. SAUCE at 20% removes $6.40. So the free wings lead by about $2.60, and they also leave you with more food, which may or may not be what you want for two people.

Now scale the same order to a group of six, at $95 of food. SAUCE at 20% would remove $19, subject to its stated maximum saving. GOWINGS still adds only about $9 of wings. The percentage now wins by a wide margin, which is the general rule: free-item codes are for small orders, percentages for large ones.

The capped percentage is worth reading carefully, though. SAUCE is described with a maximum saving, so beyond a certain order size the 20% stops growing. Past that point, the comparison flips back toward a free item or a set-price bundle. If you are ordering for a large group, price the $39.99 forty-wing bundle against a capped percentage on an equivalent basket.

Dine-in, carryout, delivery and third-party apps

Which channel you order through decides which codes exist. HTA-TEAMA is described as a carryout discount, so a delivery order will not qualify. FREEDELIVERY only has meaning on a delivery order. GH30, described as 30% off a first order, is the shape of a delivery marketplace signup offer rather than a restaurant checkout code. A first-order discount is a customer acquisition tool for a platform, not usually for a restaurant's own site.

That last distinction causes real confusion. A code listed under a restaurant's name may belong to a delivery platform, where the menu prices themselves are often higher than in-restaurant. A 30% discount applied to a marked-up menu can leave you paying more than an undiscounted direct order. The only way to settle it is to build the identical order in both places and compare the finished totals, including fees and tip.

Dine-in is a separate case again. Some promotions are restaurant-only and never appear in an online checkout, and some online codes explicitly exclude dine-in. If you are eating in, ask at the restaurant rather than assuming an online code transfers.

Where these listings come from

The primary listing source is CouponFollow's Buffalo Wild Wings page, captured in the supplied September 19, 2026 snapshot, with tokens resolved against matching external listings where an exact match could be established. One current card exposed only a masked suffix and is recorded as unresolved; we have not rebuilt it. CouponFollow also presented two promotions twice, the free-wings offer and the burger BOGO, and each is imported once rather than duplicated as separate cards. Previously featured archive rows were excluded, since an archived campaign is not evidence of a current one.

The official Buffalo Wild Wings site, with your restaurant and order method selected, is where every price and participation question is settled. Our verification process explains what the verified badge and checked date mean on each card, the editorial policy covers how these pages are maintained, and other guides are in the brand directory.

The short version: for one or two people, a free-item code on a threshold you have already passed is usually the best card on this page. For a group, price the capped percentage and the set-price bundles instead. And sign in to Blazin' Rewards before either, because the account may already hold something a code cannot beat.
